October 14 is William Penn’s 382^nd birthday! What would a party look like in 1644? Join us to celebrate and learn about Pennsylvania’s founder and explore what a celebration would have looked like in the 1640s. Try your hand at making a period toy.

This free program is presented in partnership with Dauphin County Library System and hosted at George & Hettie Love Memorial Library. Pre-registration is required and limited. Registration opens 10am Monday, August 31, 2026.

The State Museum is all about Pennsylvania. Explore topics related to the commonwealth’s history, natural history, art, and science. Programs are designed for pre-K through Grade 2. Museum Educators will provide instruction, hands-on opportunities and activities.
