When you hear that distinctive gobble, gobble sound, you know that a turkey is nearby.  Learn about this unique bird and its lifestyle here in Pennsylvania. Participants will have a chance to get hands-on with a turkey tail, wing, feet, and skull.

This free program is presented in partnership with Dauphin County Library System and hosted at George & Hettie Love Memorial Library. Pre-registration is required and limited. Registration opens 10am Monday, October 19, 2026.

The State Museum is all about Pennsylvania. Explore topics related to the commonwealth’s history, natural history, art, and science. Programs are designed for pre-K through Grade 2. Museum Educators will provide instruction, hands-on opportunities and activities.
