
Large Bags: Any bag larger than 12″wide x 12″ high x 4″deep are not allowed in the Museum, unless required for medical purposes. These bags will need to be stored in the Museum coatroom. The State Museum reserves the right to inspect any items entering the premises and are not responsible for any valuables or lost items.
Accessibility: The State Museum is handicapped-accessible. Individuals with disabilities or those in need of special assistance are asked to call (717) 787-4980 or the Pennsylvania TDD relay service at (800) 654-5984 in advance of their visit.
Food: Food and beverages of any type are not permitted in any of the Museum galleries. A snack bar with vending machines is available on the ground floor.
Wi-Fi: Visitors are welcome to access our free wifi. The network name is “Capitol Complex Free WiFi”.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all areas of The State Museum.
