Join us at Wildwood Park for a morning of turtle talk and view active reptile research being conducted by The State Museum of Pennsylvania’s Senior Curator of Zoology and Botany, Dr. Walter Meshaka, Jr. and his colleagues. Learn more about nesting snapping turtles and stinkpots that inhabit Wildwood Park.
The morning will include a walk along the Towpath Trail led by a Wildwood Park naturalist, presentation of research by Dr. Meshaka, opportunities to view turtles, a time for questions and answers, and each member will receive a gift bag at the end of the event.
The event is FREE to State Museum members, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited to only 15 people for each time slot. Sign up in advance to reserve your space.
