Explore! Black Bears

Explore! more about the history of the black bear in Pennsylvania, the unique adaptations that help them to survive, the senses that black bears rely on, and what happens when black bears interact with humans. Then discover what bears have to do with the constellations.

 

Pennsylvania is all around us, and we want to help you to explore our state!  Explore! is a program designed for kids in grades 3-5 to explore further and dig deeper into nature, art, science, and history topics.  Join us to explore Pennsylvania! Programs start promptly at 11:30 AM and are included with general admission, however, space is limited. Sign up at the Ground Floor Information Desk when you enter the Museum.
