Homeschool Program: Pennsylvania in the Civil War

Wednesday, November 6 10:00AM – 12Noon

Explore Pennsylvania’s role in the American Civil War. Discover the people, places, and events that played a role in this pivotal event in America history.

Museum curators and educators from The State Museum will lead programs designed specifically for Homeschool families. Families will experience a guided gallery tour and discussion about the day’s topic, then participate in a hands-on family activity. These programs will give homeschooled students and their families an opportunity to engage with museum staff, ask questions, and work together. After the program, families may continue exploring the museum and enjoy Q & A with staff.

Each program begins at 10:00AM and is expected to last 2 hours. Programs will be open for a limited number of participants. Registration and pre-payment is required.
