Virtual Program: Threats to the Health of Pennsylvania’s Forests

Friday, November 15 at 12:15 PM

Forests get sick too! With the recent focus on pandemics and diseases that have affected humans, did you ever wonder what would make a forest sick? Why do we need forests to be healthy? How can we keep them that way? Join Andrew Rohrbaugh, Section Chief for the Bureau of Forestry with the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, on Friday, November 15 at 12:15 PM, to learn about the insects, diseases, and invasive plants that can impact the health of Pennsylvania’s forests, and what land managers are doing to try to manage those impacts.

Presentations begin at 12:15 PM and are followed by a question-and-answer session. Registration is required to attend these free, virtual programs. Click here to register now.
