The State Museum of Pennsylvania today announced the winners of The Pennsylvania Modern: A Juried Photography Exhibition of Midcentury Modern Architecture, a state-wide juried competition that showcases the popular designs of Midcentury Modern architecture. This exhibition features nearly 100 images from across the state. More than 26 Pennsylvania cities and towns are represented and 52 Midcentury Modern buildings featured in the show.
Awards for Best of Show and Best Photograph of The State Museum and Archives Complex were presented at a ceremony held Sunday, October 25 at The State Museum.

Barlup’s Appliances 2015, Enola
Best of The State Museum and Archives Complex
Joseph Skompski, Uniontown, Fayette County
Pennsylvania State Archives 2014, Harrisburg
The 50th anniversary of the opening of The State Museum and Archives Complex, at Third and North Streets in Harrisburg, was the impetus for the competition, as well as the listing of the complex to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
