The State Museum of Pennsylvania presents “Night of the Great Pumpkin,” a family-friendly Halloween event on Friday, October 13 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Children and their families are encouraged to arrive in costume and ready to enjoy educational activities, Halloween crafts and games. Please refrain from wearing masks or bringing candy as each child will take home a treat bag.

The event will feature New York children’s musician Louie Miranda performing original and traditional songs with an educational component in Memorial Hall.  Louie integrates his high energy, passion, rhythms, and melodies into every concert.

Tickets to “Night of the Great of Pumpkin” are limited. The State Museum encourages visitors to purchase discounted tickets in advance that lowers the price of admission for a child from $4 to $3 (with treat bag). Visitors must buy their tickets by 4:00 PM, October 11 to receive the discount. Please call 717-772-6997 to get your tickets.

Tickets purchased after October 11, and on the day of the event, are $4 per child (with treat bag) and $3 per adult.
