The Museum will be closed Sunday, April 23. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your continuing patience.
A Message about the Closures
At 53 years of age, our Midcentury Modern State Museum building is getting some timely upgrades over the next couple of years.
Currently, there is a major electrical upgrade project underway. We’ve been working to see that this project disrupts our open hours as little as possible. But in order to keep our commitment to the many weekday school field trips already booked this Spring, we need to close to the public on some weekend dates so that the electrical work can keep on schedule.
We really regret having to close at any time, but in the end we will have the vital upgrades needed to keep your State Museum flourishing in efficient and up-to-date facilities.
Thanks for your patience!
