Learn at Lunchtime: “Apollo 11: Man’s First Step onto the Moon”

July 19 @ 12:30 pm

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, join us for a special showing of Apollo 11: Man’s First Step onto the Moon.  Experience one of the most momentous times in history. Discover the small steps and giant leaps made by the astronauts of Apollo 11 as they land on the Moon’s surface for the first time.
A Production of the Jenks Planetarium

 

Space is limited. Doors will close promptly at 12:30 PM. Planetarium tickets must be picked up at the front desk at least 10 minutes prior to showtime.

Learn at Lunchtime is a program featuring a variety of captivating lectures and presentations. This summer Learn at Lunchtime will be presented every Friday at 12:15 PM, June 21 through August 23.

Summer Fridays at The State Museum are “Pay as you wish!” For general admission on Learn at Lunchtime Fridays, June 21 through August 23, the amount you pay for general admission is up to you.

Art docents will be available to give tours in Art of the State 11AM – 1PM.

Summer Fridays feature Learn at Lunchtime at 12:15 PM featuring a variety of exciting lectures and presentations.

Curiosity Connection will have, limited timed-tickets available for 45 minutes of play per hour from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Tickets are limited and first come first serve.

Regular Planetarium admission rates apply.
