Join us for a tour of Innovative Means: Photography from the Collection with Fine Arts Curator Amy Hammond.
This exhibition showcases the artistry and creative approaches of 26 Pennsylvania photographers represented in The State Museum’s Fine Art Collection. Spanning almost 80 years, the 29 photographs reveal a timeline of innovations in fine art photography. While advancing camera and film technologies changed mobility and speed, photographers continued to experiment with alternative methods through the lens, from the darkroom and into the age of digital media.
The exhibit will be on display October 19, 2018 – February 17, 2019.
