3rd in the Burg: T.M. Fowler’s Bird’s-Eye Views

January 19, 2018 @ 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm

T.M Fowler's Birds-eye Views of Pennsylvania Towns & Cities

Join Senior Curator Curt Miner for a tour of Every Thing of Interest Shown: T.M. Fowler’s Pennsylvania Bird’s-Eye Views, 1885-1905. During a career that spanned nearly 50 years, Thaddeus Mortimer (T.M.) Fowler produced more bird’s eye views of American cities and towns than any other artist. Over half of his more than 400 town views depict communities in Pennsylvania. This new exhibit will showcase a sampling of original Fowler lithographic prints produced between 1885-1905. This exhibit is open through May 6, 2018.

This program is included with general admission.
