Join us as Pennsylvania First Lady Frances Wolf and artist Maria Maneos lead a casual tour of the Art of the State exhibition, sharing their insights on the show. Ms. Maneo’s sculpture 5535-2017 is this year’s first place award winner for sculpture and also won The State Museum’s Purchase Award.
The Annual Art of the State is recognized as the official, statewide juried competition for Pennsylvania artists. Jurors selected artwork from five categories: Craft, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Work on Paper and includes 103 works by 99 artists from 27 counties. The exhibit closes Sunday, September 9, 2018.
