Join us at 12:15 PM to explore the 50th annual Art of the State exhibition with Pennsylvania First Lady Frances Wolf as she and Harrisburg-area artist Andrew Guth co-lead a casual tour sharing their insights on the show. Mr. Guth’s work is this year’s first place award winner for the Works on Paper category.
Art of the State is recognized as the official, statewide juried competition for Pennsylvania artists. Jurors selected artwork from five categories, Craft, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Work on Paper.
Art of the State is presented by Jump Street and The State Museum of Pennsylvania. WITF Public Media and Higher Information Group are exhibit sponsors.
General admission to the Museum is free for the day.
A online gallery of the artwork is available here: https://phmc.info/AOS50.
