Explore! Ichthyology

Explore! the science of Ichthyology, the study of fish. Learn more about the fish of Pennsylvania’s waterways, their habitats, behavior, conservation and gyotaku (the traditional Japanese method of fish printing).

 

Pennsylvania is all around us, and we want to help you to explore our state!  Explore! is a program designed for kids in grades 3-5 to explore further and dig deeper into nature, art, science, and history topics.  Join us to explore Pennsylvania! Programs start promptly at 11:30 AM and are included with general admission, however, space is limited. Sign up at the Ground Floor Information Desk when you enter the Museum.
