The State Museum of Pennsylvania is open for Gallery Walk.
This is the last day to explore this year’s Art of the State before it closes.
General Admission to the Museum is free for the day.
Art of the State is recognized as the official, statewide juried competition for Pennsylvania artists. Jurors selected artwork from five categories, Craft, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Work on Paper.
Art of the State is presented by Jump Street and The State Museum of Pennsylvania.
Jump Street, a non-profit arts organization, has been serving the Capital Region for over 38 years, providing arts programs for students and adults; arts grants to artists and organizations throughout the state of Pennsylvania; arts-based community service programs; and technical assistance to artists and organizations. By creating delivery systems through which the eternally restorative nature of art and artistic expression may be delivered, Jump Street is making a difference in communities by providing economic and education opportunities in the arts for diverse audiences and artists unbounded by economy and geography in safe and encouraging atmospheres.
