Curiosity Kids: Moon Making

July 18 @ 11:30 am

For our youngest visitors, come join us and explore the Moon! What is the Moon? Why does it look the way it does? Learn about Earth’s natural satellite and create an image of it to take home with you. This program is in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landings.

Curiosity Kids is a program that bridges the fun of Curiosity Connection with the wonders of The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Museum Educators will guide you and your children, ages 3 to 6, on fascinating trips through history. Hands-on experiments in science and art will offer enlightening views of our world. These programs will be held in the Museum Galleries, Nature Lab and the Planetarium.

Curiosity Kids programs are included with your General Admission to the Museum, but space is limited to 20 curious kids per program. Sign up at the Ground Floor Information Desk when you enter the Museum. Curiosity Kids is funded in part by a grant from the Joseph T. and Helen M. Simpson Foundation.
