For our youngest visitors, come join us in the Transportation and Industry Gallery on the second floor for Racing Ramps! Which combination of racer, ramp, and road surface makes for the fastest race? Learn about Conestoga Wagon, travel on historic road surfaces, and how friction plays a part in speed.
Curiosity Kids is a program that bridges the fun of Curiosity Connection with the wonders of The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Museum Educators will guide you and your children, ages 3 to 6, on fascinating trips through history. Hands-on experiments in science and art will offer enlightening views of our world. These programs will be held in the Museum Galleries, Nature Lab and the Planetarium.
Curiosity Kids programs are included with your General Admission to the Museum, but space is limited to 20 curious kids per program. Sign up at the Ground Floor Information Desk when you enter the Museum.
Curiosity Kids is funded in part by a grant from the Joseph T. and Helen M. Simpson Foundation.
