Curiosity Kids: Pennsylvania State Flag

Did you ever wonder what the images on the Pennsylvania flag represent or what is the meaning behind the choice of the color blue?  Why do  horses, wheat, plows and tall ships adorn our iconic Pennsylvania flag? Find out more about the design of the official state flag of Pennsylvania and create your own personalized state flag.

 

 

Curiosity Kids is a program designed for Kindergarten through Grade 2. Curious kids will discover the world through history, science, and art exploring with hands-on experiments, crafts, and activities. Programs start promptly at 11:30 AM and are included with general admission, however, space is limited. Sign up at the Ground Floor Information Desk when you enter the Museum.
