For Gallery Walk, September 8 only, the Museum will be open special hours — 11 AM – 6 PM. General Admission to the Museum is free for the day.
Art of the State, open to Pennsylvania artists and craftspeople, is an annual juried exhibition held at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Now in its 52nd year, Art of the State continues to provide an opportunity for both established and emerging Pennsylvania artists to exhibit their work and receive statewide recognition.
Presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in association with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation, Art of the State awarded cash prizes for selected entries in the categories of Painting, Work on Paper, Photography & Digital Arts, Sculpture and Craft and includes 110 works of art by 103 artists from 35 counties.
