Join Fine Arts Curator Amy Hammond on Friday, December 23 at 10:30 AM for a stroller tour!
Parents and caregivers are invited for a special tour of the Art of the State exhibition with Fine Arts Curator Amy Hammond. Bring the little ones in a stroller or front carrier with you to explore the gallery and learn more about the Pennsylvania artists featured in this exhibition. Happy, sad, sleepy…all little ones are welcome.
Fun art activities will be provided for the older siblings in Village Square, adjacent to Art of the State, with supervision from museum staff and volunteers. The tour is approximately 30 minutes long and is included with general admission to the museum.
Art of the State, open to Pennsylvania artists and craftspeople, is an annual juried exhibition held at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Art of the State continues to provide an opportunity for both established and emerging Pennsylvania artists to exhibit their work and receive statewide recognition.
Presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in association with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation.
Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation is the non-profit partner of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. Governed by a volunteer board, PHF helps preserve the Commonwealth’s rich heritage through charitable funding, membership, grant management, and community engagement.
