Each year, the Pennsylvanians featured in Art of the State share their experiences through their art. One theme that resonates every year is identity. Please join Hee Sook Kim and Sanh Tran as we learn how they represent their Asian American identities in their work.

Art of the State, open to Pennsylvania artists and craftspeople, is an annual juried exhibition held at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. Art of the State continues to provide an opportunity for both established and emerging Pennsylvania artists to exhibit their work and receive statewide recognition.
Presented by The State Museum of Pennsylvania in association with the Pennsylvania Heritage Foundation.
Art of the State will be open Sunday, September 26, 2021 through Sunday, January 2, 2022.
