Join Amy Hammond and artist Lauren Litwa for a discussion about Tekla’s Ladder and the many ways this painting shows Lauren’s deep connection to her family and their farm in Delaware County. Having spent years living and painting in Pennsylvania, Lauren explores a deep connection to her natural surroundings. Lauren will discuss Tekla’s Ladder within the context of her larger body of work and explain the different approaches she takes when painting en plein air, or outdoors, and creating mystical environments in her studio work.
Sessions will be presented over Zoom and are free, but registration is required. Click here to register for this program. Once registration is complete, attendees will receive an attendance link and password for all of the sessions listed.
